⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

B4-UGO Safety is a personal safety notification tool. It is NOT an emergency response service.

1. Not a Replacement for Emergency Services

B4-UGO Safety is NOT a replacement for:

•911 or any local emergency number

•Emergency medical services (EMS / paramedics)

•Police or law enforcement

•Fire and rescue services

•Search and rescue organizations

•Any professional emergency response system

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical, physical, or safety emergency, CALL 911 (or your local emergency number) IMMEDIATELY.

Do not wait for a B4-UGO alert to be received by your trusted contacts before contacting emergency services. Users must contact local emergency services whenever immediate assistance is required.

B4-UGO Safety has no direct connection to 911 dispatch centers, Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), emergency medical services, police departments, fire departments, coast guard, rescue services, or any government emergency response agency. Activating the B4-UGO emergency button or allowing a timer to expire will notify your personal trusted contacts only. Emergency responders will not be notified.

2. Notification Tool Only

B4-UGO Safety is designed to:

•Notify trusted contacts that you may need help

•Share your GPS location with trusted contacts

•Deliver pre-composed messages automatically if a timer is not cancelled

B4-UGO Safety does not:

•Contact 911 or emergency services on your behalf

•Dispatch emergency responders

•Guarantee that trusted contacts will receive, read, or respond to alerts

•Guarantee response times from trusted contacts

•Replace professional medical advice, emergency planning, or safety training

3. Message Delivery Cannot Be Guaranteed

Alert delivery depends on factors entirely outside our control, including but not limited to:

•Internet connectivity (Wi-Fi or cellular data) at the time of the alert

•Cellular network availability and carrier reliability

•Email provider delivery and spam filtering

•SMS carrier routing and delivery

•Push notification service availability (Apple APNs, Google FCM)

•Your device battery, power, and operating status

•Trusted contact device status and notification settings

•Third-party service outages (Twilio, Resend, cloud infrastructure)

•GPS signal availability and accuracy

•App background processing limitations imposed by mobile operating systems

Push notifications, SMS, and email delivery cannot be guaranteed. We cannot guarantee that any alert, message, or notification will be delivered, received, or acted upon.

4. Trusted Contacts Are Not Emergency Responders

Your trusted contacts are private individuals. They:

•Are not trained emergency responders

•May not be available when an alert is received

•May not be able to respond immediately

•Cannot dispatch emergency services on your behalf (unless they choose to call 911 themselves)

B4-UGO Safety cannot control or guarantee when trusted contacts receive, read, or respond to alerts, or whether they contact emergency services.

5. GPS Location Accuracy

GPS location data is provided by your device and may be inaccurate due to indoor environments, tunnels, dense urban areas, device GPS hardware limitations, atmospheric interference, or mobile operating system location restrictions. GPS accuracy is measured in meters and may vary significantly. Location data should be treated as approximate.

6. User Responsibility

By using B4-UGO Safety, you acknowledge and agree that:

•You will maintain a primary safety plan that includes contacting emergency services directly

•You will not rely solely on B4-UGO Safety for personal safety

•You are responsible for maintaining accurate Trusted Friend information and testing your emergency contacts periodically

•You will keep your trusted contacts informed and ensure their contact information is current

•You understand the limitations described in this disclaimer

•You accept full responsibility for your personal safety decisions

7. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

B4-UGO Safety is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, B4-UGO Services Ltd. shall not be liable for any harm, injury, or damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. B4-UGO Services Ltd. does not guarantee message delivery, emergency response, law enforcement response, medical response, or successful communication in all circumstances. See the Limitation of Liability section in our Terms & Conditions.

8. App Store Compliance Notice

In accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines, we confirm:

•This application does not replace or supplement emergency services

•This application does not connect users to emergency services

•Users must use local emergency numbers (911, 999, 112, etc.) in life-threatening situations

•This application is a personal notification tool only

9. Jurisdiction-Specific Emergency Numbers

Emergency numbers vary by country. Common examples:

•Canada / USA: 911

•United Kingdom: 999 or 112

•Australia: 000

•European Union: 112

Always contact the appropriate emergency service for your location.
