Frequently Asked Questions

How does B4-UGO Safety work?

Set a timer on a private message. If you don't stop it with your security code, the message is automatically sent to your trusted friends along with your GPS location.

What happens after my 3-month free trial?

You move to a free receiving account automatically. You keep receiving and reading messages, alerts, emails and SMS from your trusted friends forever, at no cost and with no credit card. Sending safety timers and messages, and using the emergency panic button, then require a subscription.

What happens when I press the emergency button?

All your trusted friends receive an immediate email and SMS alert with your name, GPS location, and a request to check on you.

Do I need two accounts to send and receive?

No. One account does both. You become someone's Trusted Friend by accepting their connection request — that is a relationship between two accounts, not a separate account type.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. All messages are encrypted and your security code is never stored in plain text.
